The curriculum offered by Art Start Studio focuses on developing technical art-making skills to enable every student to grow in their understanding and enjoyment of creative processes. Students are introduced to the work of a wide range of historical and contemporary artists as they develop their own art-making practice.
Creative Kids NSW Vouchers
To use your Creative Kids NSW voucher for classes, select the program you would like. Add these to your cart. Here you will be prompted to complete the voucher form and registration details.
You will be required to leave a valid credit card to reserve your child’s place until your voucher has been processed. Your credit card will then be charged with any balance remaining for the term.

Term Classes
Weekly 1-hr before or after school classes for Primary and Secondary aged students during school term time.
To register and pay for Term Classes at Art Start Studio please select the appropriate class day and time.
NOTE: At this point in time most classes are only available to Engadine West Public School students (Year 1 - Year 6)
Thursday late afternoon OPEN classes are available for students from all schools (Year 3 - Year 10)
Quality cartridge paper 65pg diary 11” x 14”
A Visual Diary allows students to collect, explore and develop conceptual ideas and art making techniques. At Art Start Studio we use Visual Diaries as a way for artworks and ideas to be documented and kept in one space. Students love looking through their Diaries at the end of every year to see how their art making has developed.
The diaries we use in class are 11 “x 14” and contain quality cartridge paper, which is great for painting and drawing.
All new students are encouraged to have a Visual Diary to work in. These can be purchased from art stores or through the website. Creative Kids Vouchers CAN NOT be used to purchase Visual Diaries.
We encourage current students in Term 1 to purchase a new Visual Arts Diary through Art Start Studio.
Holiday Classes
Art Start Studio Holiday workshops provide a wonderful opportunity for students to create art in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.
As a registered NSW Creative Kids provider you are able to use Vouchers for the workshops. To use vouchers simply click “register without paying” after completing the registration form and your spot will be reserved until voucher is processed.
To use CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHERS press ‘reserve without paying’ and send through voucher.
